Message Strategy + Email Copywriting
Challenge:
Adam, CEO and Co-founder of Bloomsights, was struggling to communicate their message effectively through emails. It was as if clarity was lost in a cloud of miscommunication.
And something had to be done.
Because Adam lost sight of his core message, our first step was to establish a message strategy as unique as Bloomsights by diving deep into his customer’s journey and marketing research.
Once the message was strong and clear, we moved on to creating an email campaign that would engage his cold leads with a unique and creative strategy.
1. Message Strategy
This involved deep diving into who his ideal person was, their struggles, and their goals.
It also included the development of Bloomsight’s mission statement, value statements, and tone guide that resonated with their audience. Our first step was essential in order to develop and perfect his core message, ensuring that it resonated with and energized his target audience.
2. Research
In order to understand the needs of their target audience, I put my ear to the ground and did deep research into what his ideal person was searching for, what language they used, and the struggles that were preventing them from taking action on their goals
3. Email
With the customer journey map in hand, I was now able to write emails that were relatable and customer-centric–without the salesyness.
Adam now had in his hands a concise brand story and message strategy that revolved around his mission and core values.
In addition, he was now equipped with a well-crafted email campaign that seamlessly incorporated clear messaging targeting his leads in a more effective way.
It’s this strong brand story and compelling email campaign that will ultimately lead Bloomsights to success.
